Where is CD1? ***UPDATED***

Wow, three posts in one day! A record for me I'm sure.

Anyway, It's now 6 days since we got the negative and I'm stilling waiting for CD1. I stopped taking all the meds as soon as I got the call last Tuesday. I've had cramping off and on over the week. But this weekend I had the migraine from hell. I usually get migraines with the changes in weather, and yes it did warm up quite a bit over the weekend, but I don't know if that's sole reason. Several years ago when we started TTC I started getting migraines monthly right around CD1. I don't know if that was coincidence or because of the meds/hormones, but ever since then that's usually one of the indications that CD1 is coming, and they are usually short and manageable. Well, this weekend was the worst migraine I have had in an extremely long time. Light and noise exacerbated it, I was nauseous (but never ill with a migraine), and I thought my head was going to explode. Advil Migraine was my friend. It started at 2am Saturday morning, and although eased significantly last night, has not gone away completely as I write this. I'm trying to decide if it's going to get any worse today meaning I'm going to have to make sure I leave work before driving becomes a challenge. I just really hope that this is the signal that CD1 is on the horizon.

UPDATE:
So the headaches were definitely the advanced warning. I started spotting yesterday afternoon and so today is CD1. Kind of ironic that it's on April Fool's Day. ;) However, it's here. I'm glad. Seven days exactly since the end of the last cycle, although with the previous cycle it showed up three days later. Go figure.

I'm so sorry about your migraine. How awful. I usually don't have them but did with Lupron. I hope you feel better soon.

Ack! I think it might be a combination this time... the weird-a$$ weather lately, today's rain, and impending CD1.

After our failed FET, it was a week to the day after my last PIO injection before CD1, so here's hoping the wait is almost up.

I'll warn you, though, that CD1 was a day of many mixed and extreme emotions... because it was both a clean slate and a glaring reminder of what we didn't have :( So, be prepared for another few soggy moments *hug*

I get migraines twice per cycle. Once at mid-cycle when I ovulate (when progesterone rises) and again a day or two before I get my period (when progesterone plummets). I hope that the migraine signals CD1 for you hon. *hugs*

It will come unfortunately, just not exactly when you prefer it to, dammit!

BTW, If you plan on asking your doc what he thinks of DHEA, just for kicks, remember that he is in direct competition with my Doc and so he may crap on it. They are very very competitive. And hey it may not be useful for you guys, but my RE is running a study on it, and after 4 months of DHEA or placebo, you get free IUI, so it might be worth checking out.

You also get a free toaster. (grin)

Ugh, what a nightmare. My AF showed up right away (actually started spotting before I even got the negative beta), but it lasted for SEVEN days! This sucks, doesn't it?

Sorry about the migraine and the long wait for AF. I had a friend who got migraines the beginning of every cycle so I don't think that is uncommon.

I'm glad you are still trying to have a baby - however that journey unfolds.
