I'm back

I know it's been a little while. I've been off in California for work. Now before all you people residing in the colder climes of Canada and the US go and say how lucky I am etc etc. Please keep in mind, I was working. Although not the trip from hell it was still exhausting. This was my third international trip in eight weeks. Normally I'd think great, and I do like travelling. But basically working 61 hours in four days, not including travel days, can wear on a person and I've done that for three different trips.

Anyway, I'm back, and this project is now complete. Woohoo!!!! The only travelling I want to do is with V. Maybe we can fit in a vacation in March?

So, it's CD16 for me today. AF should show up in about 12 days if it decides to be on time which means we hope to be heading into the clinic on CD2, which would be about January 31st. I emailed my nurse to let her know our plans and ask her if there was anything we could do differently that might help this cycle, such as baby aspirin. She said that was a good idea, and I could speak with the doctor when we see him at the start of the cycle. Does anyone know if it would help to start that now?

Anyway, that's it. More when I have something to say. Just catching up on work, and everyone's blogs, although maybe not in that order. :)

I don't think the baby aspirin this early will help, but it won't hurt. My IVF clinic had me start baby aspirin a couple weeks before my retrieval. It is just to thin the blood which starts to work a couple of days after you start taking it. So taking it early doesn't really make a difference. The only thing I noticed though is that I would bruise/bleed more easily, mostly noticed during acupuncture.
