Not sure if V. does or not.Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03154636161249104743noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26254663.post-42472328745002883092007-04-13T14:05:00.000-04:002007-04-13T14:05:00.000-04:00So all this discussion around the boy's name which...So all this discussion around the boy's name which should be easy, something starting with 13th letter and containing 13 letters, just so it is hard to fit on the hockey jersey when he plays in the NHL. What I would like to know is what is the girl's names up for discussion?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26254663.post-82182408400314306322007-04-09T11:18:00.000-04:002007-04-09T11:18:00.000-04:00Mmm, Patti, you are indeed wise. Thanks love.

Contrary to my little brother's (Mikhail's) excitement though, it will not be the letter of the first name but definitely possible for a middle name. I am fine with Aristole being a middle name as well.

In Judaism you cannot name a child after a living person, and so honour the memory of someone who has passed by naming them after that person or for that person. The 'A' would be to honour Pam's passed father, Alan.

I still don't think Zachary fits the naming-culture for either family so we will have to continue searching. I don't think there will be much debate but we will both know it when we hear it.

And Red, Hamish is still laughable. :)

Thalia, don't encourage her. It's only going to make it harder for her when she ultimately has to let it go because it is never happening. :)

What About Bob?Dtrinihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14239794728830110652noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26254663.post-23820225294712383322007-04-09T10:59:00.000-04:002007-04-09T10:59:00.000-04:00Thanks Thalia. :) It's been on of my favourite n...Thanks Thalia. :) It's been on of my favourite names for years. Alas, I do think I may have to concede.

Patti - the 13th letter is appropos for V. and I as 13 figures prominently in our relationship. And for obvious reasons, we'll get the approval of Wizdom. :)

Needless to say, when we are fortunate enough to be choosing names, I know there will be much debate and discussion. :)Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03154636161249104743noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26254663.post-76411093570642985072007-04-06T12:56:00.000-04:002007-04-06T12:56:00.000-04:00zachary is a lovely name. Aristotle is too much with your last name and Zach has been done to death.

Perhaps you two should meet in the middle? Around "M"? I have already conceded that said boy child can carry that as a middle name. And while we're on the name game, convince V. that there is nothing wrong with Zachary. And that not everyone thinks of (or has even heard of the Zachary disease joke).
As you can see, when we are finally in a position to think about names, there will be disagreement between us. :)Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03154636161249104743noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26254663.post-21083850297480471602007-04-04T14:28:00.000-04:002007-04-04T14:28:00.000-04:00Contrary to the author's statement, the child, sho...Contrary to the author's statement, the child, should it be a boy will NOT bear that moniker as a first name.
