Not only has the fat lady sung, she's packed her bags and left the building with Elvis

3 That's as good as zero. So I've stopped all of the meds and I'm now waiting for a period. Based on past history that should be about a week putting us at about September 3. We can do a FET immediately if we want to. I was hesitant because when projecting an estimated due date that puts us at the end of May beginning of June, just a few weeks after my nephew's Bar Mitzvah. Did we want to take that chance? However, on talking with V, we do. So, we are currently planning to do the FET immediately. Stay tuned for further updates. :)

Thank you all for you wish, prayers and hopes over the last week. It's been immensely comforting to know all of you out in the internet are cheering for us.

  4. Darn it! Tell that fat lady I'm going to have a word with her...

But good that you can move ahead with the FET. It always helps to have a plan, somehow.

My thoughts are with you this evening...

  12. I'm so sorry but am very heartened that you are moving immediately into the FET. I've been told, interestingly enough, that a chemical pregnancy puts you in better condition for an immediate pregnancy thereafter becuase the uterus was primed. Not sure whether it's true, but my OB said it so I trust him as a source of knowledge, even if not an expert on infertility.

  13. Thank you all for your kind words. It's been hard because this time we really thought we'd made it.

Aurelia - always looking out for me. :) In the past we've always been told by the clinic that we can start with the next cycle. If they thought it a bad idea, they would have advised so.

Roni - I've heard something similar from my own doctor. So, we'll take it to be true since two physician's have said it. :)

  19. I'm really sorry.

I'm missing my brother's wedding in late October -- they scheduled it just as we booked our IVF cycle. I'm bummed to be missing it, but it would have been a nice vacation (a destination wedding) if our cycle had failed.
